Todos los jefes de equipo y miembros de Polydeck utilizan la excelencia en seguridad como una br\u00fajula m\u00e1s que como un objetivo elevado. Puede ser un objetivo desalentador porque garantizar que toda la plantilla trabaje con una filosof\u00eda de \"seguridad siempre\" es m\u00e1s una mentalidad que un lema. Y, como todos sabemos, cambiar y hacer evolucionar una mentalidad no es f\u00e1cil. La mentalidad por s\u00ed sola no puede lograr la excelencia en seguridad, pero sin duda influye en los comportamientos. Los comportamientos que generan h\u00e1bitos positivos y seguros est\u00e1n directamente relacionados con la reducci\u00f3n de los incidentes en el lugar de trabajo. Por lo tanto, estamos seguros de que un equipo comprometido de personas que viven con una mentalidad de \"seguridad siempre\" es el comienzo de una organizaci\u00f3n segura. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando los miembros de un equipo se implican de verdad y se preocupan por los que les rodean, se producen cambios significativos. Recordemos los grandes equipos que han ganado campeonatos, o los grupos de personas que han influido en los cambios pol\u00edticos, o los creativos e inventores que han influido en los campos tecnol\u00f3gicos con soluciones que mejoran y salvan vidas: estas circunstancias requer\u00edan personas entregadas con una pasi\u00f3n comprometida por el trabajo que se estaba haciendo. Lo hicieron por s\u00ed mismos y por los dem\u00e1s, y obtuvieron resultados asombrosos. As\u00ed es como nos sentimos con respecto a la seguridad. Por supuesto, podemos intentar apoyarnos en pol\u00edticas, normativas de la OSHA o incluso equipos automatizados para hacer que nuestra obra sea m\u00e1s segura, pero esos elementos s\u00f3lo nos llevar\u00e1n hasta cierto punto. En Polydeck, hemos visto a miembros del equipo predicar con el ejemplo e ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las expectativas de seguridad porque la propiedad que reconocen sin \"reglas\" ambiguas, les da poder y les permite actuar siempre que la seguridad se vea comprometida. Los miembros del equipo est\u00e1n motivados para detectar los peligros para la seguridad y recomendar mejoras para ayudarse mutuamente a crear un entorno de trabajo m\u00e1s seguro.
