Continuing the Tradition: Supporting Project 150 in Las Vegas

Diciembre 3, 2024

At Polydeck, we believe our responsibility goes beyond creating exceptional screening solutions. We aim to leave a positive impact in the communities we visit, demonstrating our core values of compassion, service, and community support.

A heartfelt example of this commitment took place after this year’s MINExpo 2024 in Las Vegas. Every year, we pledge to donate a percentage of the sales generated at a trade show to a local charitable organization in the city. This year, our chosen partner was Project 150, a non-profit dedicated to supporting homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students in the Las Vegas area.

Building on a Meaningful Partnership

Our relationship with Project 150 began last year during the Impact Prayer Breakfast at the ConExpo trade show, also held in Las Vegas. Learning about the organization’s incredible mission inspired us to take action and contribute to their impactful work.

When MINExpo brought us back to the same city this year, it was only fitting to continue our partnership with Project 150 and further support their efforts to empower students in need.

Delivering Impact Beyond the Trade Show

On December 2, Frank Harris, Polydeck’s Director of Mining, had the privilege of presenting a $14,000 donation to Project 150’s Executive Director. This contribution is dedicated to helping students stay in school, thrive academically, and work toward brighter futures.

The funds will support vital initiatives, such as providing school supplies, food, clothing, and other essentials to ensure these students have the resources they need to succeed.

Reflecting on What Matters Most

At Polydeck, we view initiatives like this as an opportunity to extend our impact far beyond the trade show floor. While our primary focus is serving customers in the mining and aggregates industries, we also believe in uplifting the communities where we work, visit, and live.

Our partnerships with organizations like Project 150 wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our team and the trust of our customers and partners. Together, we can achieve more—not just in the industry but in creating positive change wherever we go.

Gratitude and Moving Forward

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Project 150 for their unwavering commitment to students in Las Vegas and for allowing us to support their important mission.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to using our resources to build stronger communities and brighter futures. Because at Polydeck, it’s not just about the work we do—it’s about the legacy we leave behind.
