Polydeck amplía su solución de cribado RUBBERDEX® XTREME tras la excelente acogida del sector

Spartanburg, S.C. – Polydeck expands its RUBBERDEX line with RUBBERDEX® XTREME, a rubber screening solution designed for the most demanding screening applications. Following its debut at SME MineXchange 2025, the product returned to the show in 2026 as mining operations continue seeking screening media that can support heavier loads, longer wear life, and reliable performance in challenging plant conditions.

Built with a heavy-duty steel backplate rather than a traditional embedded insert, the design of RUBBERDEX XTREME delivers the required strength while maximizing wear life and preventing panel margin separation, a common issue when fines are forced into seams in heavily loaded applications.

“Certain scalping and high-volume mill discharge applications create unique stresses on screening media because panels must handle large heavy materials or high slurry volume while still allowing fines and liquids to pass efficiently,” said Ryan Johnson, Vice President of Product and Customer Solutions at Polydeck. “The combination of thick heavy-duty panels with smaller openings presents unique challenges in design and manufacturing. With RUBBERDEX XTREME, our team focused on building a panel architecture and manufacturing process that provides both the strength and wear resistance needed in these extreme applications while enabling the process benefits of removing excess slurry and fines.

RUBBERDEX XTREME is currently available in a 1-foot by 2-foot modular format, with panel thickness options of 50, 65, 80, and 100 mm and aperture sizes starting at 25 millimeters and larger. The panels use either bolt-down or pin & sleeve fastening and fit most stringer systems, including PIPETOP^TM angle, and tube configurations, allowing operations to integrate the solution into existing screening equipment. Compared to typical modular screening media, RUBBERDEX XTREME delivers up to 30 percent more wear life, helping reduce changeout frequency and support uptime in demanding processing environments.
