Bobby Shannon

Bobby Shannon has spent the last three decades serving the Energy, Industrial, and Aggregate industries. He began his career in the Coal Fields of West Virginia where he started out in Research and Development before transitioning into Sales and Service. At Polydeck, Bobby and his son, Tyler, are known as the dynamic duo, serving energy and industrial customers primarily in the West Virginia, Virginia, and Kentucky areas. The two have won several awards as “Sales Team of the Year” because of their collaborative work and get-it-done attitudes. When it comes to serving his customers, Bobby weaves in and out of several roles using his experiences in logistics and technical work as warehouse manager and sales service technician. From helping a customer meet drainage rates and improve magnetite recovery, to enhancing screening efficiencies and providing cost analyses for business decisions, Bobby is passionate about his customers’ success and does his best work collaboratively. When he is not spending time with his family, Bobby enjoys playing guitar, working on his golf skills, and riding motorcycles.

For the Aggregate Industry, Bobby covers Southern West Virginia only. For the E&I Industry, Bobby covers Southern West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Tennessee, and Southern Virginia only.
