Best Choice for Corrosive Environments

Use PROTEX® UC if you are dealing with corrosive environments in wet applications. It is most effective in abrasion protection when used in slurries containing particles smaller than 1”.
In corrosive environments, it protects against corrosion by sealing the underlying steel from the slurry. In addition to sealing the equipment physically, rust formation under or around the edges of the coating is further controlled chemically by the addition of a rust inhibitor with the surface primer.
