Our welded wire screen media is specially engineered to give wire cloth level throughput in an easy-to-handle modular form. Designed for aggregate producers, XPT exposes material to more working apertures and creates a more productive open area. Engineered in abrasion-resistant welded wire, it also offers up to triple the wear life of typical wire cloth. It’s ideal for high-wear dry sizing applications with high efficiency needs.

ULTRACLEAN

Our modular zigzag wire media introduces secondary motion for self-cleaning capabilities, preventing plugging and blinding in dry, fine-sizing applications. Its small-gauge wire enhances throughput efficiency, making ULTRACLEAN ideal for discharge ends of overloaded decks or areas requiring improved product cleanliness.

What is METALDEX made of?
The XPT screening surface is composed of 500 Brinell welded wire, designed for maximum abrasion resistance, while ULTRACLEAN is made from stainless steel. PRO comes in both hard chrome and stainless steel. Screening surfaces for all are encased in a reinforced polyurethane border.
What wire cloth limitations does METALDEX solve?
XPT and ULTRACLEAN can individually address some of the common limitations associated with wire cloth:
  • Susceptibility to pegging and blinding: ULTRACLEAN provides a self-cleaning zigzag wire design that combats blinding and pegging.
  • Lower impact resistance and corrosion vulnerability: Both models use heavy-duty steel screening surfaces that provide greater abrasion and corrosion resistance than standard wire cloth.
  • Limited wear life: Due to its lower impact resistance and higher corrosion vulnerability, wire cloth also tends to have a shorter life span compared with other screening media. XPT offers an extended life, up to 3x on average.
